I try to come up with different outfits for difficult to match items. You know, just in case a customer will ask…what would you wear with this? Here are a few of my favorites:

How cute and colorful is this box!?
Ok, I realize that I’m a little too enthusiastic about a crumbly old box. But I buy a lot of vintage stuff on eBay and Etsy and most of the time the stuff arrives in questionable packaging…an old mac and cheese box, a box for bullets, a tampax box and my recent favorite, an envelope stuffed with newsprint paper (and yes, the item was damaged in the mail).
Well this is the first time I’ve ever been excited about a package, which is surprising cause you’d think that Etsy sellers would be all about the cute. I mean I get the need to be environmentally friendly, but there are ways to do it without making the customer feel dirty. Like reusing a relatively clean unmarked box and covering it with pretty stickers.
