A Little Bit of Gardening
This week I got started on a project I’ve been putting off for a long time. (I think the “before” pictures will explain why.) We ripped out all the old plants, save for the roses, the bougainvillaea and one spikey odd tree/bush thing. Then replaced it with fakahatchee grass and dwarf crown of thorns plants. Both of them are perennials that require full sunlight and minimal water and because of the weather here, will stay green/flower year-long.
There’s still more to be done as we haven’t fully mulched the ground, some potted plants need to be moved, plus this is just a small part of the front garden and then there’s the backyard and the sides of the house…
